Hi my name is Lakot Brenda Lakang and this is my story.

When i was eight years old, i discovered ballet after moving to New Zealand.I was amazed at how ballerinas body flowed so gracefully and wanted with all my heart to join them on stage.I begged my mother to let me take classes but she said we couldn't afford it.I cried myself to sleep because of it and wished that i was richer.But after a while i realized that crying wasn't going to fix my problems.So i started looking for a job to pay for my lesson but unfortunately for me i was too young to work but that didn't stopped me from looking.But after 6 years of dreaming and looking for a job , i decided it was too late for me to become a ballerina,so i started to look for other careers but no matter how hard i tried to remove my passion and desire to become a ballerina i couldn't forget it.So a few months after my 15 birthday i decided that money wasn't going to hold be back from becoming a ballerina i might never dance for a company, or a studio ,or take lesson, or have career performing.Because of money but nothing can stop me from teaching myself and dancing ballet.So come along and join me in my journey of becoming a self taught ballerina !
